Dear Parent / Carer,

Just a reminder that school will close on Friday 23rd July at 3.30pm for the
summer break.

We will re-open on Thursday 2nd September at 9.00am. 

We have uniform in stock should you wish to purchase any.  Can I also remind
you that dinner money is £8.50 per week, milk money is £9.50 per term (free
to nursery age pupils).  Please put any money you send into school in an
envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, the amount and what it is
for.  It should be handed to the escort please do not put it in your child’s
bag. 

If your child has respite can you please ensure you let us have a letter (or
message in their home to school diary) confirming the dates they are in.  We
can then check it against our list to make sure that the dates are correct.

Have a good summer thank you for your support over the last year, it is very
much appreciated.

For those of you whose child is at Carlton Lodge here is the second day
update.

All pupils had a settled an enjoyable first day.  All settled well at
bedtime, they went Kayaking on Wednesday.  Today they will be rock climbing
and using High Ropes.  They all are enjoying themselves, and as I said
earlier, all settled for bed, the fresh air and exercise, seems to be
agreeing with them.

Parents will be pleased to know that the students have arrived safe and well
at Carlton Lodge.  They had a good journey up there, and are settled in
nicely.  We have either spoken to or left messages for all parents.  Should
you require any more information please don’t hesitate to contact school.
